Miguel Ángel has traversed a path full of obstacles and challenges since a tragedy changed his life forever. A few years ago, while at work, a crane fell on him, bending his body in half. In that instant, he noticed one leg felt nothing, and gradually, the sensation in the other leg faded until he felt nothing at all. This tragic incident resulted in a T12 ASIA D spinal cord injury of traumatic etiology, leaving Miguel Ángel with a series of spinal and medullary injuries challenging his ability to move and his life in general.

However, he found a ray of hope in the robotic neurorobotics clinics of Movex Clinics. Here, with the help of cutting-edge technology and the unwavering support of a dedicated team, he began his journey to recovery. Despite the immense challenges he faced, Miguel Ángel clung to unwavering determination and unwavering faith in his ability to overcome this adversity.

Despite the physical limitations imposed by his injury, Miguel Ángel has exceeded expectations and has demonstrated time and time again his ability and dedication to sport and life itself. His calendar is filled with exciting challenges: from the athletics track to the most prestigious marathons, such as those in Seville, Barcelona, Madrid, and Jaén, as well as half marathons in the Spanish capital. Additionally, he competes in diverse locations such as Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona), Madrid, the Basque Country, and the Canary Islands.

Most inspiring of all is that Miguel Ángel not only competes for himself but also carries the banner of overcoming and human potential. As the official ambassador of Gogoa and Movex Clinics, he represents the fundamental values of perseverance and indomitable spirit.

When the therapist tells you they can't do anymore, this 'frame' becomes your second body and allows you to look out the window," reflects Miguel Ángel on his experience with rehabilitation technology.
