On 1 and 2 December, GOGOA took part in the official business delegation that travelled to Nouvelle-Aquitaine, led by the Lehendakari, Imanol Pradales.Around 50 distinguished Basque companies—from biosciences and biotechnology to advanced manufacturing and aerospace—were selected to participate in “Nouvelle-Aquitaine / Euskadi – Innovation & Business Connect”, a high-level forum created to strengthen technological, economic and institutional cooperation between both regions.

For GOGOA, our presence in this mission is far more than a formal invitation: it is a recognition of our position as one of the leading actors in rehabilitation robotics and health technology within the Basque innovation ecosystem.

A Strategic Mission for the Euskadi–Nouvelle-Aquitaine Axis

The official programme combined top-tier institutional engagement with concrete business activity:

  • Opening of the “Innovation & Business Connect” forum, organised by the Basque Government, the Région Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Basque Trade & Investment, and the Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie de Nouvelle-Aquitaine, with a strong focus on innovation, digital transformation and artificial intelligence.

  • Technical visits to benchmark organisations in biosciences, digital health, and medical technologies, including SOPHiA GENETICS, IHU LIRYC, and FineHeart, where Europe’s next standards in advanced diagnostics and cardiac therapies are being shaped.

  • Dedicated B2B encounters designed to catalyse collaborative projects in medical devices, AI-driven healthcare solutions, biotechnology and knowledge transfer.

In parallel, the Lehendakari held strategic meetings with French authorities and the European Coordinator of the Atlantic Corridor to address improvements in the high-speed rail connection between France and Spain—an essential infrastructure for competitiveness, logistics, and the international projection of Basque industry.

This mission aligns perfectly with Euskadi’s commitments in its Science, Technology and Innovation Plan 2030, consolidating our region’s long-standing leadership in advanced industry and health innovation.

What GOGOA Brings to This Alliance

Being included in this mission affirms that GOGOA is among the technological frontrunners that Euskadi seeks to position at European level. Our contribution unfolds across three strategic dimensions:

1. Rehabilitation Robotics and State-of-the-Art Exoskeletons

At GOGOA, we develop robotic systems and exoskeletons for:

  • Neurological and musculoskeletal rehabilitation, offering precise, measurable movement assistance.

  • Industrial ergonomics and injury prevention, protecting workers engaged in high-demand physical tasks.

  • New intensive therapy models, integrating robotics, virtual reality, and—when appropriate—neuromodulation.

Our experience places GOGOA as a trusted technological partner for hospitals, research centres and industrial organisations in Nouvelle-Aquitaine seeking advanced solutions for movement rehabilitation and human performance.

2. Digital Health and Clinical Data Intelligence

Our systems do not merely support movement—they generate and interpret data.

Each training session with our exoskeletons produces structured information on:

  • Kinematics and kinetics

  • Neuromuscular response and exertion

  • Functional progression over time

This data-driven approach is fully aligned with regional initiatives in AI for biosciences and precision medicine, opening avenues for collaboration in algorithmic assessment, personalised therapy, and predictive modelling.

3. End-to-End Capability: From Innovation to Clinical Deployment

At GOGOA, we master the entire medical-device lifecycle:

  1. Technology design and validation

  2. Regulatory certification as medical devices

  3. Deployment in hospitals and rehabilitation centres

  4. Clinical evaluation and continuous optimisation

This comprehensive approach makes us a reliable partner for complex, multidisciplinary projects, where innovation must demonstrate real-world impact on patient care.

High-Level B2B Engagement: Turning Dialogue into Action

During the B2B sessions in Bordeaux, GOGOA engaged with technology companies, research institutions and healthcare organisations from Nouvelle-Aquitaine interested in:

  • Integrating rehabilitation robotics and exoskeletons into neurological, orthopaedic and geriatric rehabilitation pathways

  • Co-developing next-generation medical devices combining robotics, advanced sensing and AI

  • Conducting multicentre clinical studies comparing traditional rehabilitation with robotic and data-driven models

  • Exploring the use of our technologies in industrial and logistics settings to improve workforce safety and reduce musculoskeletal injuries

These exchanges confirmed the strong opportunity for cross-border industrial and scientific cooperation in sectors of high strategic value.

Why This Mission Strengthens GOGOA’s Position

Participating in this mission reinforces several key messages:

  • GOGOA stands as a pivotal force within the Basque health technology ecosystem.

  • Our work in exoskeletons, rehabilitation robotics and digital health aligns with European strategic priorities.

  • We possess the industrial maturity, clinical experience and technological excellence required to drive international collaborations at scale.

In essence, this mission places GOGOA exactly where we are meant to be: among the companies shaping the future of health, rehabilitation and human performance technology in Europe.

Looking Ahead

Following these two fruitful days in Bidart and Bordeaux, our next steps include:

  • Advancing the collaborative opportunities identified during the B2B sessions

  • Developing joint proposals with companies and institutions from Nouvelle-Aquitaine

  • Integrating key insights from the mission into our product roadmap and international strategy

At GOGOA, we do far more than design medical technology—we help connect Euskadi with Europe through innovations that enable people to recover better, work more safely and live with greater autonomy.

geometry game offers both frustration and fulfillment. Players fail often, but every successful jump synced to the beat feels like achieving musical perfection.

Very informative post — the way you explained complex medical and technological concepts was clear and accessible. It’s encouraging to see innovation in this space discussed so thoughtfully. I recently came across a brief overview on https://www.nutritist.us/ that touched on similar advancements. Excellent coverage.

Laboratory testing needs accuracy, control, and repeatable results. Researchers depend on stable tools to test power supplies and electronic systems. Selecting equipment from an electronic load banks manufacturer ensures precise load simulation for research and development tasks. These systems support adjustable loads and clear data readings. Compact designs fit well into lab spaces without clutter. Easy controls help students and technicians operate devices safely. With dependable testing equipment, labs can improve experiment quality and maintain consistent performance across multiple testing cycles.
