REVITAL Showcases Its Cutting-Edge Technologies at FITECU 2025, Serving Rural Communities

The REVITAL-Interreg SUDOE Project: Socioeconomic Revitalisation of Low-Density Population Areas through Clinical Telecare made a distinguished appearance at the II International Fair of Innovation and Technology in Care Services, FITECU 2025, reaffirming its unwavering commitment to the advancement of technological solutions in telecare and tele-rehabilitation across rural regions of France, Portugal, and Spain.

A Platform for Innovation and Knowledge Exchange

During the fair, physiotherapists from the San Cebrián Foundation showcased the state-of-the-art technologies employed in the pilot phase of the REVITAL project at the InnovaFITECU: Lab to Market space. The exhibition captivated the interest of numerous attendees and healthcare professionals eager to learn about the transformative impact of these solutions on medical care and rehabilitation in rural communities.

A highlight of the event was the visit of Mr Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, President of the Regional Government of Castilla y León, who had the opportunity to witness first-hand the project's progress and its prospective benefits in the Cerrato and Tierra de Campos regions, where the Spanish pilot phase will be conducted.

Furthermore, consortium members participated in a networking luncheon, engaging with fellow fair attendees and establishing pivotal connections for the continued implementation and expansion of the REVITAL project.

Key Consortium Meeting at FITECU 2025

Later in the day, the REVITAL consortium convened for a pivotal meeting to deliberate on crucial aspects of the project's evolution. The agenda encompassed:

• A summary of the Joint Secretariat's interview with SUDOE, featuring contributions from CLUSTER SIVI, GOGOA, FSC, DEUSTO, and ESTIA.

• Activity 1.3: Recruitment and training of personnel, introducing the physiotherapists recruited at IPCB and planning forthcoming training sessions by IPCB, FSC, and GOGOA.

• Activity 1.4: Implementation of pilot initiatives, with progress updates from GARAZI, IPCB, and FSC.

• Activity 3.1: Assessment of technological tools used in pilot cases, defining evaluation methodologies led by DEUSTO and GSS.

• Activity 2.1: Business model development for each pilot case, presenting deliverables and addressing queries raised by ESTIA.

  
  

Additionally, discussions underscored the activation of neurorehabilitation services in rural settings and the formulation of a strategic framework to engage regional stakeholders in clinical service provision.
