At Gogoa Mobility Robots, we are committed to driving technological innovation to enhance the quality of life for individuals. Hence, we are thrilled to be part of the REVITAL project: Socioeconomic Revitalisation of Low-Population-Density Areas through Clinical Teleassistance.
In collaboration with a pluriregional consortium comprising nine leading entities in the healthcare and socio-healthcare sectors of Spain, France, and Portugal, we are diligently working to develop innovative technological solutions that enable the provision of specialised teleassistance and telerehabilitation services in rural areas.
Our focus at Gogoa is on creating intelligent and adaptable mobile robots that can assist in physical and neurological rehabilitation tasks, as well as in the delivery of remote healthcare services. These robots are designed to be user-friendly and safe, while offering a high level of efficiency and precision in clinical assistance.
The REVITAL project provides us with a unique opportunity to showcase the potential of our technology in real-world settings and make a tangible difference in the lives of people living in rural areas. We are excited to participate in the implementation of pilot experiences in Castilla y León (Spain), Central Portugal, and Nouvelle-Aquitaine (France), where our robotic mobility solutions can truly make a difference in long-term healthcare and care for elderly and/or chronically dependent individuals.
Our goal at Gogoa is not only to improve healthcare in these communities but also to contribute to the creation of qualified employment and the economic revitalisation of rural areas. We firmly believe that technology can be a positive driver of change and are committed to being part of the solution to the challenges faced by these regions.
Recently, the inaugural meeting of the "REVITAL" project took place at the Valladolid Innovation and Economic Development Agency (IDEVA), where the nine members of the consortium responsible for executing the project gathered to establish the foundations of this initiative. This meeting was crucial in strengthening public-private collaboration and the connection between university and industry, essential elements for retaining and attracting talent in the region.
We are delighted to be part of the REVITAL project alongside other prominent entities such as the Cluster for Innovative Solutions for Independent Living (SIVI), the Social Services Management of the Junta of Castilla y León, the SAN CEBRIAN FOUNDATION GROUP, École Supérieure des Technologies Industrielles Avancées (ESTIA), the University of Deusto, etablissement public de sante de garazi, AEBB - Associação Empresarial da Beira Baixa, and the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco. Together, we are committed to revitalising low-population-density areas through clinical teleassistance, promoting technological and social development in these communities.
Join us on this exciting journey towards a healthier and more prosperous future for all!
