Gogoa Mobility Robots had the distinguished honour of participating in InnoHive 2025, the prestigious biennial event convened by EIT Manufacturing, held from 8 to 10 April in Brussels. This landmark occasion brought together over 500 eminent figures from the European manufacturing landscape, encompassing industrial leaders, policy architects, venture capitalists, researchers, academic institutions, and burgeoning technological enterprises. The shared objective: to cultivate synergies and propel innovation across the continent’s industrial fabric.
Exhibiting Excellence: The SUPERHUMAN and VIVELAB-EXO Initiatives
From our exhibition space, Gogoa proudly unveiled recent milestones within two of our most emblematic initiatives under the auspices of EIT Manufacturing: Superhuman and VIVELAB-EXO. These programmes address strategic imperatives such as industrial ergonomics, musculoskeletal strain reduction, and the prevention of work-induced physical impairments.
SUPERHUMAN: Relieving Muscular Fatigue through Assistive Innovation
Superhuman (SUPport Exo to Relief HUman Musculoskeletal fAtigue in maNufacturing) aspires to deliver a cutting-edge industrial exoskeleton, meticulously engineered to attenuate physical exertion during repetitive and biomechanically demanding tasks—such as load bearing and sustained awkward postures.
The project’s ambitions are threefold:
To mitigate the incidence of work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs) amongst manual operatives;
To benchmark the Superhuman prototype against existing commercial alternatives;
And to substantiate its efficacy through rigorous functional trials, notably in partnership with CTAG (Centro Tecnológico de Automoción de Galicia).
Preliminary outcomes, presented at InnoHive, indicate a marked reduction in lumbar strain when employing the Superhuman system.
VIVELAB-EXO: Simulation-Driven Ergonomics for Industrial Advancement
The VIVELAB-EXO project—executed in concert with FAREL Plastics (Wirthwein Group), CTAG, and ViVeTech Nyrt.—aims to revolutionise workplace ergonomics through a sophisticated simulation platform seamlessly integrated with industrial exoskeletons.
Its strategic aims include:
Addressing the pervasive challenge of WMSDs, a leading cause of occupational absenteeism across the globe;
Elevating working conditions and operational output in demanding environments;
Reinforcing ESG compliance through ergonomic innovation and labour optimisation.
Gogoa, under the banner of Cyber Human Systems, spearheads the integration of exoskeletal technologies into real-world pilot implementations, whilst concurrently contributing to international standardisation via the ASTM F-48 working group.
Marketplace Engagements: Fostering Strategic Technological Alliances
Among InnoHive’s most enriching components was the Marketplace—an orchestrated forum designed to facilitate concise, high-impact dialogues between SMEs and established industrial stakeholders. In this setting, Gogoa conducted engagements with no fewer than 15 European entities, exploring areas of mutual interest, such as:
Applied robotics in industrial contexts;
Automation of ergonomically critical manual tasks;
Sustainable workforce solutions and retention strategies;
Cross-sector integration of biomechanics, AI, and digital simulation.
These strategic exchanges served not only to cultivate prospective collaborations but also to further embed Gogoa within the pan-European innovation ecosystem.
Representing Europe’s Technological Vanguard: Gogoa at the EIT Manufacturing Round Table
In testament to our standing within the community of advanced technology SMEs, Gogoa was cordially invited to participate in a distinguished round table representing the voice of Europe’s innovation-driven enterprises. Our Project Director, Mr Javi Fínez, delivered a poised and insightful intervention, reflecting upon:
The nuanced challenges encountered in managing multi-partner European projects;
The tangible benefits conferred by participation in the EIT Manufacturing framework;
And the critical role of collaborative infrastructure in facilitating knowledge transfer and scaling impact.
Looking Forward: Purpose, Partnership and Pan-European Progress
InnoHive 2025 has reaffirmed Gogoa’s role as a cornerstone of industrial ergonomics innovation in Europe. As we continue to navigate the convergence of human-centred technology and sustainable manufacturing, we remain steadfast in our commitment to advancing both productivity and the dignity of labour.
At Gogoa Mobility Robots, we persist in uniting talent, technology, and purpose, ensuring that innovation is not merely conceived—but meaningfully deployed—where it matters most.
