A few weeks ago, GOGOA, together with our partner PrevenZiona, took part in WorkSafe Barcelona 2025, the benchmark event for prevention, protection, and occupational health. The response was outstanding: highly technical conversations and a clear focus on real-world deployment at scale. We are grateful to all those who visited us and shared their operational challenges.

Our methodological approach: from assessment to outcome
Job analysis: In-situ observation; task characterisation (frequency/duration), loads, working heights and critical postures.
Controlled pilot (typically 4–8 weeks): Training, individual fitting, safe-use checklists, and pre–post measurement:
Ergonomics: % reduction in time with shoulder elevation >60°, sustained lumbar flexion.
People: perceived exertion (Borg), reported discomfort, adoption rate.
Operations: output stability and quality integrity.
Scale-up and standardisation: Procedures, eligibility criteria by workstation, maintenance and hygiene, and a dashboard with quarterly reviews.

Key questions and our position
Do exoskeletons replace other control measures?
No. Exoskeletons are a complement within the hierarchy of controls. Engineering and organisational measures are prioritised; where these are not feasible or sufficient, exoskeletons provide effective mitigation of exertion.
How do you ensure workforce adoption?
Early engagement with teams, on-shift trials, individual fitting, concise training, PPE compatibility, and follow-up. The felt benefit is decisive for adherence.
What about maintenance and hygiene?
Low maintenance: routine cleaning, visual checks, replacement of wear parts, and protocols tailored to sector requirements.
