GOGOA will take part in VivaTech 2026, Europe’s leading event for technology, startups and innovation, taking place from 17 to 20 June at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.

GOGOA presents ALPERK and BELK at VivaTech Paris 2026, combining artificial intelligence, neuromodulation and medical robotics

The event brings together global technology leaders, major corporations, investors, startups and international experts to explore the technologies redefining industry, healthcare and society.

On this global stage, GOGOA will present an advanced demonstration focused on one of the major transformations shaping the future of medicine: the integration of artificial intelligence, neuromodulation and robotics to accelerate patients’ functional recovery.

GOGOA will participate on 17 June, from 10:15 to 10:25 CET, on the Discovery Stage, within the Industry, Robotics & Advanced Manufacturing track, with the session:

Industry, Robotics & Advanced Manufacturing – Live Demo with GOGOA

The session will be led by Carlos Fernández Isoird, Founding Partner & CEO of GOGOA, who will present the therapeutic potential of combining ALPERK, GOGOA’s neuromodulation system, with BELK, the robotic knee exoskeleton designed for advanced motor rehabilitation.

AI with Real Impact in Healthcare

VivaTech 2026 places artificial intelligence at the heart of its programme under the theme “Impact, Not Illusion” — a concept that raises a fundamental question: which technologies are truly generating measurable value in hospitals, factories, cities, supply chains and services, and which remain merely technological rhetoric.

For GOGOA, this vision is fully aligned with its approach to biomedical engineering: innovation is not simply about creating advanced devices, but about developing solutions capable of transforming real clinical processes, improving therapeutic outcomes and expanding patients’ recovery potential.

Artificial intelligence applied to neurorehabilitation enables a shift towards more precise, personalised and adaptive therapies. It is not only about automating movement, but about interpreting data, adjusting stimuli, optimising protocols and supporting patient progress with deeper analytical capacity.

ALPERK + BELK: Activating the Nervous System, Guiding Movement

GOGOA’s demonstration at VivaTech will showcase a therapeutic approach based on the combination of two complementary technologies.

BELK provides assisted, controlled and repetitive robotic movement, enabling functional knee recovery to be addressed with precision, safety and therapeutic intensity.

ALPERK incorporates non-invasive neuromodulation through vagus nerve stimulation, an intervention pathway designed to support mechanisms associated with neuroplasticity, motor learning and pain modulation.

The integration of both technologies represents a significant evolution in rehabilitation: the goal is not merely to mobilise a joint, but to prepare the nervous system to learn better, respond better and recover better.

This approach combines three key dimensions:

  • Robotics, to guide movement with precision.

  • Neuromodulation, to promote a more receptive neurophysiological environment.

  • Artificial intelligence, to move towards more adaptive, measurable and personalised therapies.

Beyond the Device: Technology, Clinical Expertise and Protocols

One of the great challenges in advanced rehabilitation is moving beyond an isolated view of the device. At GOGOA, technology is part of a broader ecosystem that brings together engineering, clinical expertise, biomechanics, data, therapeutic protocols and direct experience with patients.

Participation in VivaTech reinforces this vision: medical robotics should not be understood as a replacement for healthcare professionals, but as a tool to multiply their therapeutic capacity.

By combining exoskeletons, neuromodulation, functional assessment and artificial intelligence, it becomes possible to design treatments that are more intensive, reproducible and aligned with specific clinical objectives.

Europe Can Also Lead the Medicine of the Future

GOGOA’s presence at VivaTech Paris is also an opportunity to showcase the role of European biomedical engineering in developing high-impact technologies. In a landscape dominated by artificial intelligence, robotics and digital health, Europe needs companies capable of turning research, engineering and clinical practice into real solutions for patients, hospitals and healthcare systems.

GOGOA represents this convergence: a company developing medical exoskeletons, neuromodulation technologies, functional assessment systems and advanced solutions for rehabilitation, prevention and human performance.

A New Generation of Rehabilitation

The combination of ALPERK and BELK points towards a new generation of therapies: smarter, more intensive and more patient-centred.

A form of rehabilitation where robotics does not simply assist movement.

Where neuromodulation does not simply stimulate.

Where artificial intelligence does not simply analyse data.

But where all these technologies work together towards one common goal: enhancing the human capacity to recover.
